KRISTI GRANING
Senior Vice President, Information Technology and eBusiness
RE/MAX International, Inc.

Kristi Graning

Kristi Graning, Senior Vice President, Information Technology and eBusiness came to the RE/MAX organization in 1991 as a product support assistant.  She made a steady climb through the technology division, serving in various product support capacities including assistant, technician and analyst, advancing to positions as technology coordinator, administrator, and marketing manager.  She was named Vice President, Web Services and Information Technology Marketing in November, 1998 and to the position of Vice President, Information Technology in April 2004.  In August 2005, she was promoted to her current position.

Graning oversees an IT operation comprised of more than 50 personnel including developers, system administrators, analysts, trainers, and middle management in a variety of disciplines such as systems development, network services, applications support, business systems administration, eBusiness and IT marketing.  She also assists, supports and trains RE/MAX Associates on virtually every technology developed through RE/MAX International and is a frequent and popular host on RE/MAX Satellite Network (RSN) technology programs.

She also supervises development and maintenance of RE/MAX Mainstreet, a world-wide Extranet for the RE/MAX organization and all elements of www.remax.com, a public Internet site providing a wide variety of information and links, including real estate listings and other valuable content for home buyers and sellers.

Since August 2005, Graning has led her IT team in an industry first – the three-stage development of a comprehensive national network of IDX/ILD (Internet Data Exchange/Internet Listing Display) Web sites that is fully compliant with MLS policies across the country and displayed on www.remax.com.  Additional enhancements include “LeadStreet,” a system of top-end lead management tools for RE/MAX agents. The first phase was completed in early 2006 and includes nearly two million real estate listings, covering 65 percent of the country. Phase II and III markets continue in process. When fully implemented, virtually every residential listing in the United States will be available at remax.com.  And, it means consumers can quickly and efficiently interact with quality RE/MAX real estate agents.

Graning is also responsible for development and maintenance of the RE/MAX enterprise membership system, MATRIX, and numerous other mission critical proprietary systems of the internal operations in the RE/MAX organization.  Additionally, she manages operations of the internal technical infrastructure including network services, support desk, telecommunications, and remote connectivity.

Graning was instrumental in the planning and development of the proprietary RE/MAX Web Roster, an online application providing the RE/MAX population a state-of-the-art technology to facilitate agent to agent online referral business.

In addition, she leads IT efforts in becoming “SOX” compliant through IT governance and internal controls and handles vendor negotiations to provide world-class technology services and products to the RE/MAX membership.

A Wyoming native, Graning attended Casper College, Casper, Wyoming, and Metropolitan State College of Denver and is a graduate of numerous professional, training, computer and skills programs.

She and her husband, Eric have two sons.
